A little late but good discovery in my hometown, Vadodara. Not a typical ‘right on the street and thronged by hundreds’ type of restaurant.
It was Friday evening and we were a large family of 12 adults + 1 child. I preferred to make reservation considering the large group I was with.
Situated on a peaceful location and part of Hotel Express Residency, the restaurant and hotel has ample parking space with wallet service. Bayleaf has its dedicated indoor sitting as well as a covered shared sitting with Fiorella, its Italian counterpart, overlooking a sprawling loan. Interior is little dimly lit but neat and tidy.
We had our dinner peacefully even with my one year old child, all thanks to the high chair that they arranged for him.
We tried combinations ranging from mock-tails, soups, starters, north Indian mains to Italian mains including Pizza and Lasagna and nothing disappointed us.
Service has some scope of improvement in terms of timings but overall good and acceptable.
Truly a hidden gem in Vadodara!
