Cordelia Cruise | Day 2 Sailing – Somewhere in the Arabian Sea

In the early morning, we woke up, and went to the balcony, to enjoy the soothing sound of waves, and the total darkness was fascinating. We fell asleep in balcony chairs only to wake up to the beautiful sunrise. After soaking in the sun, we freshened up and started discussing our plans for the day using Cordelia Cruise’s daily itinerary. But first of all, we headed to the food court to have breakfast with a view.

The activities on the cruise start at 7 o’clock and last until midnight, and a few activities were charged extra. There is always something going on for everyone.

Around 11 o’clock we enjoyed the in-house Balle-Balle show. Next, we wanted to play the mafia game but got no spot. After watching others play, we went on the bridge tour. On the previous day, we had booked our bridge tour at 12:30 which cost us around 4k in INR (~ $50). This tour has limited slots and depending on the weather, they decide to conduct it or not. For the tour, we were a group of 15 people gathered at the reception. From there, a security person escorted us to the bridge (deck 9) where the ship’s second and third captains explained the ship, the ship’s work, route decisions, traffic management, and a little bit about their duties and work. We got a chance to click pictures with them, which were again available at their gallery. Camera usage was prohibited in that area. After 30 minutes, the security person escorted us back to deck 9. We didn’t find the bridge tour worth the money; however, kids might find it interesting.

After that, we took Yuven to play rounds of chess competition, and he made it to the 2 rounds, and then we finished our lunch. We decided to keep Yuven in the kids’ academy, enjoy our happy hour’s drink, and then rest for some time. We did some quick shopping for hats and caps for the next day and later enjoyed live music and games followed by dinner. Around 10:30 PM, there was a show by magician Tejas for an hour, we attended that and while discussing his tricks and magics, fell asleep to get rejuvenated for the next day’s excursion.

Stay tuned for day 3 of our adventure at Lakshadweep!
