Cordelia Cruise | Day 4 & 5 – Sailing Back to Mumbai

After an exciting day in Lakshadweep, we decided to soak in the sea and spend a good amount of time on our suite’s balcony and the open deck on the last day.

After breakfast, we roamed around deck 10 and discovered a musical chairs game for adults and kids called “Win the Wishes.” We participated in it for about an hour, then went back to our room to get ready. At 12, we participated in an origami workshop, which was quite chaotic, but a fellow traveler who was skilled in origami taught us to make a fish and a butterfly. Before lunch, we had a good time on the deck, enjoying chilled-out tunes with the DJ. Later, we dropped Yuven off at the kids’ academy to enjoy our happy hour drinks. After a quick nap at 4, we watched “Romance in Bollywood – Production Show” but left midway and enjoyed romantic hits at the Chairman’s Club.

At Yuven’s request, we went to the gaming arcade and played a few games. We then went to the casino to redeem a casino voucher provided by the staff, but there were some terms and conditions, so we dropped the idea of playing in the casino. Later, we enjoyed the sundowner, a neon theme party, and a few games at Connexions on deck 6. After our last dinner on the ship, we headed to the room to complete our packing.

When Yuven and I were fast asleep, Mihir roamed around the ship, enjoying his time to explore and unwind.

In the morning, we did a quick photo shoot, and after breakfast, we docked at the Mumbai terminal right on time.

Though the staff tried to manage disembarkation, it was chaotic, and waiting for the lift was frustrating.

The first sail of our lives ended with lifelong memories.

Stay tuned for the takeaways and notes.
