In November 2024, we enjoyed a fun 2-night family cruise with Cordelia from Mumbai to the high seas and back. After our previous Lakshadweep trip, more family members joined this time, making it a lively group experience.
Spend an enchanting day in Daman exploring India’s largest exotic bird aviary, strolling along Jampore Beach promenade, and admiring the stunning Shiva statue. From lush greenery to mesmerizing sunsets, Daman offers a perfect blend of nature, history, and serenity. A must-visit destination for families and nature enthusiasts!
Si Nonna’s at Inorbit Mall, Vashi, offers a delightful wood-fired sourdough pizza experience with a cozy, minimalistic ambiance. From the delicious Panuozzo to the perfectly baked 4-cheese pizza and heavenly tiramisu, the food impressed us. Friendly service and a relaxed vibe made our celebration truly memorable!
Our recent visit to Pizza Express, Viviana Mall, Thane, was disappointing. Poor service, bland pizza, and long waiting times overshadowed the good vegetarian platter and tiramisu. Despite prior reservations, the staff was inattentive, adding to the frustration. While desserts saved the day, we won’t return to this outlet anytime soon.
Craving a wood-fired pizza, we decided to visit Mad Doh - Sourdough Pizzeria & Bakes, a pure vegetarian restaurant located in Mulund West. The ambience was serene and minimalist, with a white color palette, natural light, and simple wooden furniture. We started with a Guava Mojito and Classic Roasted Cheese Garlic Bread, which tasted good but didn’t quite meet our expectations of sourdough. The Pizza Ortolana had good flavor but lacked a crisp base, and the dessert, Tiramisu, was underwhelming. While the meal was pleasant, we look forward to trying more authentic pizzerias in town next time.
Foo, a renowned restaurant in Mumbai, is known for its exceptional Asian cuisine. We recently visited their new outlet at Viviana Mall, Thane, for lunch. Pre-booking through Zomato saved us from a long weekend wait. The ambiance was elegant and minimalist, setting the tone for a delightful meal. We enjoyed the Udon Clear Soup, Aburi Veg Maki, and Truffle Togarashi Black Rice Maki Sushi, all paired with Foo Brew Japanese Rice Beer. The highlight was their signature Foo Blue Butter Japanese Fried Rice with yellow curry. Though slightly pricey, the flavorful dishes and dessert made it worth the visit.
