City by the Bay: San Francisco Travel Series (Part 5) โ€“ All About the Big Bus Day & Night Tour

Our San Francisco adventure continued with the Big Bus Day & Night Tour, taking us across some of the cityโ€™s most popular landmarks and neighborhoods. From Alamo Square and the Painted Ladies to Golden Gate Park, the Japanese Tea Garden, and North Vista Point, the day tour offered plenty of beautiful sights, although the long waiting times between buses made the experience somewhat average for us. The night tour was a different story, taking us through Nob Hill, Russian Hill, Union Square, the Financial District, and across the Bay Bridge to Treasure Island. Our San Francisco adventure continued with some of the city's most iconic landmarksโ€”the Golden Gate Bridge, Palace of Fine Arts, and Presidio. We started our day at the Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center, where we explored the history and engineering behind this world-famous landmark, enjoyed spectacular bay views, and stopped at the Round House Cafรฉ. From there, we headed to the beautiful Palace of Fine Arts, wandered around its picturesque lagoon, and admired its breathtaking architecture. Our journey continued to the historic Presidio, where we stopped at Lucasfilm, explored the Yoda Fountain, and took the Presidio GO Shuttle to experience more of this vast national park site. We ended the day at Tunnel Tops, enjoying spectacular Golden Gate Bridge views in the light drizzle and peaceful surroundings. An Evening Exploring Montmartre

On our final day in Paris, we wandered through Montmartre, beginning our journey with a metro ride to Lamarck-Caulaincourt. The quaint streets led us to the Instagram-famous La Maison Rose and the lively Place du Tertre, where artists and musicians filled the air with creativity. The stunning Sacrรฉ-Cล“ur offered mesmerizing views of Paris, and we reveled in the vibrant atmosphere around the basilica. A visit to the Wall of Love added a romantic touch, and our evening ended with a stroll to the iconic Moulin Rouge, basking in Montmartre's charm before returning to our hotel.
